hangi at school

yesterday we had a matriki and arts display in the hall.

on thursday we had a hangi first we had to setup the hall for the arts display and it is important to bring along your parents to come to see the beautiful art that room 11 has made.Next we had to go to class and collect our art to display it onto the stage then we took down the chairs outside.Then we walked back to class to do work but instead we went to play outside with the ball.After that we had to come back into class so we can get ready to go to the hall and well we were in class the seniors were helping to setup the hall for lunch then we walked quietly to the hall and we sat down and ate the food that the cook island group served us with.

the best part i like was eating lunch and playing music with the glockenspiel and having lunch in the hall.

botanic gardens trip

TITLE:  botanic gardens

When we went to the botanic gardens we walked into the bus to transport us there. When we got there it was a beautiful day.

First when we got there we lined up in our seperate lines then mr Naidoo went to ask the
manager if we are allowed to enter through the entrance and he said yes so we went through
and we made quite a bit of noise.

Next we sat down and had a our nutritious morning tea then well we were eating mr gave
everyone worksheets to study about plants so we can experience what plants are about.

Then we packed up and put our food into our bag and the first place we headed to was to the
edible garden then when we got there we saw some plants ,fruits and flowers so we had to flip
the page to the edible garden and we felt the plant and smelt it after that we went to an edible
gardens that were filled with herbs like mustard is made out of plants and I learnt many things
about plants and it was very enjoyable because it was fun because  I was with my friends to
experience about plants.  

Finally we finished a very long walk and everyone was very tired because they were unfit then
we had to walk back to the main area but in my feelings it was very fun and it was a very fun
experience to see
